“European Literature” Requirement to Become “Foundations of Literature”
European Literature, the required English course for sophomores, experienced a name change to Foundations of Literature in an effort to expand the course beyond Eurocentric works of literature and create a broader definition of foundational texts in the course.

Health and physical education teacher Dr. Anna Markova has initiated a painting project to take place in the hallway by the music classrooms, planning to incorporate student designs and collaborate with professional artists to paint the hallway with musical themes.
ARISTA Launches New Initiatives for the Spring Semester
ARISTA started new virtual efforts for the spring, including Office Hours, and has continued to work on initiatives from the fall, such as the District 1 Pilot Program Initiative and partnerships with the Invisible Hands organization and other high schools.
