Upcoming: Stuyvesant’s Spring Fun Fair

Stuyvesant's first ever Spring Fun Fair.

Reading Time: 1 minute

Stuyvesant will hold its Spring Fun Fair for the first time on March 27, following the SAT schedule. From 12:54 to 2:50 p.m., students will be offered the opportunity to sign up for three 40-minute workshops of their choice. Taught by students, teachers, clubs, or staff members, these sessions include diverse topics on student interests and hobbies. Workshops can fulfill both humanities and STEM fields, with activities such as craft-making, writing, or coding.

Being the first year of this interactive event, the Spring Fun Fair offers exciting promises. Rather than administrating eight-minute shortened periods, the fair allows for further engagement with the entire Stuyvesant community outside of classes. Students will learn more about specific topics and also have the chance to ask questions to session leaders who share the same interests as them. The goal with this fair is to create eye-opening experiences for new passions and connections to form. Despite being only two hours long, this afternoon could be an opportunity for students and faculty members to learn something and explore new interests.
