The NBA season recently began—just in time for Halloween! If you’re trick-or-treating in Brooklyn, keep an eye out for the Nets’ team costume. This year, the dysfunctional family that is the Brooklyn Nets is dressing up as the Kardashians. Here’s a look at some of their outfits:

Kyrie Irving: Ye (Kanye West)

It’s no question that Ye has admirers and haters. His constant antics and ambitions, socially and politically, have no difficulty garnering attention despite their ridiculous or even offensive natures. Similarly, Kyrie Irving has his own preposterous convictions, which he claims are based on astrology or science. Both non-vaccinated individuals have done absurd things that make them cynics or simply absurd—Kyrie believes the earth is flat, and Ye ran for President in 2020. The two have even been seen together, with rumors sprouting that Kyrie is signing with Ye’s Donda Sports agency. The athlete is proud to be dressing as Ye for Halloween in an all-black Donda fit.

Kevin Durant: Kim Kardashian

The first person that comes to mind in “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” is likely the glamorous superstar Kim Kardashian. In the same way, one can’t think of the Brooklyn Nets without picturing Kevin Durant, the face of the team. Kim rose to quick fame as a socialite, much like Kevin did as a basketball player. Kevin, like the Kardashians and other celebrities, seeks attention and came to Brooklyn with Kyrie as a duo, hoping to lead the team to a championship. You won’t want to miss the Kevin-Kyrie pair costume as Kim and Ye—two of the most iconic celebrity duos that have both had their share of ups and downs.

Ben Simmons: Stormi Webster

Stormi is the first daughter of media personality Kylie Jenner and rapper Travis Scott. Being the descendant of two young multi-millionaires, it’s no question that the four-year-old’s life is materially abundant, and she is used to getting what she wants. Ben Simmons, though from a less star-studded family, shares many of the same personality traits as Stormi. As seen in both his time in Philadelphia and his slow start with the Nets, he is exceedingly stubborn, refusing to play until he gets what he wants from his team. He chooses who he is friends with, even among his teammates, a trait analogous to the child. There’s no doubt that Ben will be dripped out from head to toe on Halloween, and not without Stormi’s iconic clutch purse.

Seth Curry: Khloe Kardashian

Khloe Kardashian is by far the most underrated Kardashian sister. Since she doesn’t have the same celebrity status and success as her siblings, she’s often hidden behind the curtains. However, many Kardashian fans have gone as far as to say Khloe’s one-liners and relatable banter carry the reality show. Seth Curry, like Khloe, has always been underappreciated. His brother, Stephen Curry, is a two-time NBA MVP and three-time NBA champion, constantly pushing him under his shadow. Yet, Seth is an excellent guard and a consistent playmaker. He shot 42.2 percent from behind the three-point line, ranking all-time third in the NBA. Like Khloe, he is a force to be reckoned with.

Joe Harris: Kendall Jenner

Kendall Jenner is different from her reality show co-stars and sisters. She prefers to stay out of the headlines, keeping herself in check so she can focus on her rapidly rising career. Keeping your head down and putting in the work is nothing new for the Nets’ starting shooting guard Joe Harris. Compared to his fellow teammates, Joe looks like the average Joe, and off the court, he acts like one too. While his $72 million contract says otherwise, his humble personality is, as his coach says, why “everybody loves Joe.” On top of everything, the undeniably attractive Joe will do supermodel Kendall’s costume justice this Halloween.

Steve Nash: Kris Jenner

If you have been keeping up with the Kardashians, you know that the center of their success is Kris Jenner. Her expertise has elevated the family members to the billionaire net worths many of them boast today. For head coach Steve Nash, there is no costume more fitting than Kris Jenner, the matriarch of the Kardashian-Jenner clan. Like Kris Jenner’s business empire built off managing her familial reality stars, Steve has a kingdom of his own: the Brooklyn Nets, his own family of NBA All-Stars. We also can’t forget that both Kris and Steve had powerhouse careers before transitioning to leading positions for their own teams, making Steve’s costume all the more perfect for him.

James Harden: Rob Kardashian

You may think of Rob Kardashian as the “lost brother” of the Kardashian family. Similarly, James Harden is the lost and long-forgotten brother who left the Brooklyn Nets in a statement trade with the Philadelphia 76ers. The “Brooklyn Big Three” was plastered over every sports media site in the beginning of 2021, with little doubt that they would make a deep playoff run. When that failed, James left. Rob left the Kardashians’ show when “KUWTK” appeared on Hulu, so it’s fitting that James dresses as his runaway counterpart. Not to mention, both men have taken on recent fitness transformations, so you won’t want to miss this costume.

While you are walking through Fort Greene or Boerum Hill, keep an eye out near the Barclays Center for this star-studded family. Though an imperfect group, each person plays a vital part in the team, just like the Kardashians, who wouldn’t be who they are today without each member.
